So...sorry folks but you have to endure this little bit to get on with the rest of it (when it all eventually gets posted). I'll try to make it short(ish).
I was born in a tiny little hillbilly town in Missouri. I graduated somewhere near the top of my class in 1981 and immediately left that "dot" for some place bigger. I took my first pass at college in a "christian" work college (it was more-or-less..mostly less..free) but not very christian. I shortly left THAT particular hell-hole, got married (I know, I know...more later), had a baby boy, moved around a bit, and eventually landed in Gaithersburg, MD.
Shortly after that I joined the US Navy, spent 5 years there and got out. I don't regret my Navy time at all, but--like the hills--was not the place for someone as "large" and as gay as me!
In the Navy is where I met Russell.
Later I divorced my wife (2nd wife..another long story..you'll need to ply me with Cosmos to get all that info!) and Russ and I hooked up.
We bought a house..then bought a 2nd house, moved, sold the first. Russ's mom moved in with us, my son moved back in with us. Had to put Mom in a nursing home. (There was a decade in 3 sentences!)
Russ and I worked a few nifty jobs, started a couple of self-made businesses. I restarted college and finished with an AA and a BS in "Video Game Creation" then a Master's "computer usability."
Russ and I had been together for 15 years when--after a night of dancing at a local gay dance bar--we met Garry. We decided to take him home and he's still here. As the "trick who never left" he's been great fun and we love him madly. He's been with us (at this time) 2.5 years and shows every sign of eternity.
And that's sort of where we are. We travel as much as possible. Love more than most people think is feasible, and have plans for an even more amazing future.
