Red Hot Run

This morning was my 3rd 5K run!  The Red Hot Run at the Roland Park School.  There was about 115 runners.  The route was brutal-ish.  Nice long downhill stretch at the beginning...with a bunch of pay-back hills around mile #2.  Ouch!

Here's some pictures!

The run wasn't a "chip" run, so the timing and sorting was done manually.  So when I got to the finish line area, there were a number of "chutes," for us to go down according to which race we were in, as well as male / female.  Of course, when you're in an all-out sprint to cross the line, it's tough to figure it all out in the last 100-feet!

Wait...  What?  I Go Over There?  Ok....

All Done!

After the Cooldown, Some Water, and a Banana.

The final results were:

115 runners.  I came in #12 overall, 3rd in my age group (really..? out of 12 there were 2 faster old men?!) with a time of 21:54.  Probably could actually call it 21:50 with the "what lane do I go down" mix up.

It was a good run, even with those killer hills in the back part of the route.
