Yes...it's rant time!
Last night, The Three of We went to the Hippodrome to see a touring Broadway musical, "Rock of Ages" which was quite fun. Not great...not earth-shattering...but fun. Particularly when they stopped taking themselves so seriously. (Sadly that didn't happen until the middle of the second act.)
However, the point of this entire (if brief) tirade is this:
The instant the intermission started -- and I mean the very instant, as the house lights had not even come up yet -- the auditorium lit up with the lights of no less than 35 cellphones powered on!
Really!? Are you people so stupid and ridiculous that you can't live without your iNipples for the length of one theatre performance?
