In the Air Over Kauai
Today, Russ and Damian had to sit through the "owner's update" which really means "try to get you to buy more points." We have more points that God has, so we don't need any more. However, they offered Russ a "coupon"....and so we bought more points. Apparently, he views points the same as Pokemon cards, and feels the need to "collect 'em all!"
That took most of the day, then we were off to our adventure. We hopped in the car and headed down to Lihue....then turned around to go back to the resort to get his camera...then headed back back down to Lihue to the airport where we climbed aboard a little plane and did an aerial tour of the island.
It was beautiful: lush jungle, rugged cliffs, waterfalls, beaches, taro plantations. Just gorgeous. Here's a collection of pictures.

We took hundreds more pictures, but that's all I'm going to burden you with just now.
After the ride, we drove into town and went to Duke's restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food incredible. Mom "won" the prize for prettiest dish!
Dessert was the absolutely sinful Hula Pie, a "slice" of sundae so big it took four spoons to finish it all.
After that we were done. We wandered back through the Hilton, snapped some shots of the outrageous Koi Pond. Back in the car, every one except Damian fell asleep as we returned to the resort and directly to bed...
...because tomorrow's adventures start early!
